
Ingredients
- Prawns- 1/2 kg
- Onions- 2 medium size finely chopped
- Tomatoes- 2 medium size finely chopped
- Ginger garlic paste – 1.5 tsp
- Green chilli- 1 slit
- Any spinach- 1 cup chopped
- Turmeric pwd – 1/2 tsp
- Chilli pwd -1 tsp
- Coriander pwd- 2 tsp
- Curry pwd- 2 tsp
- Salt as required
- Water as required
- Curry leaves
- Oil – 4 to 5 tsp
To grind
- Coconut – 1/2 cup
- Pepper- 1/2 tsp
Method
- Grind coconut and pepper to a fine paste and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan . Add curry leaves, chopped onion and green chilli.Sauté for 3 minutes.
- Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for few minutes.
- Then add the tomatoes. Sauté for 3 minutes and then add turmeric pwd, chilli pwd, coriander pwd and the curry pwd and mix well. Sauté the masala for few minutes.
- Add the ground paste and sauté for 2 minutes. Then add required water. Close and cook .
- Once the gravy starts to boil add the prawns and spinach. Add required salt. Mix well
- Simmer this for few more minutes until the oil floats on top.
- Serve
