
Ingredients
- Ripe Bananas- 3
- Wheat flour- 1 cup
- Salt- a pinch
- Jaggery- 1/4 cup
- Baking soda- a pinch
- Cardamom powder- 1/4 tsp
- Water- 1 cup
Method
- In a bowl add the peeled bananas and mash them with a fork.
- Now add wheat four, salt, cardamom powder,baking soda to the mashed bananas and keep aside.
- In a pan add 1 cup water and the jaggery. Heat on medium flame until it melts. Turn off gas.
- Filter the syrup and pour into the banana mixture. Mix well to combine.
- Keep the batter aside for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a kadai. Once the oil is hot drop in 1 tbsp of batter each time.
- Fry the fritters on low to medium flame until dark golden brown.
- Drain the fritters on a tissue paper for the oil to absorb.
